Hiring Process

Google first starts the career path with the candidate having a conversation with a google recruiter. If the conversation goes well it then leads to an interview over the phone to get to know the individual a little bit more, which then leads to an onsite interview at one of the many google offices. When interviewing it is typical to be interviewed by four or five googlers who are possible future teammates that are looking for qualities in the candidate such as skills related to the position, how the individual would handle different problems, leadership, and what makes the individual motivated. These interviewers then give feedback about how the candidate would fit in with Google and a committee then reviews all of the feedback and ensures that the individual is applying for long term and the process was fair (How We Hire).
