They have “mom rooms” for new mothers to pump. They support family leave for new borns (both parents.) They get 100% pay during this time as well as a bonus for food expenses.  The company has weekly meetings with their superiors. You can come in early and leave early or come in late and leave late. The day involves emails, coding, chatting with coworkers, free lunch with coworkers in meetings. There is a lot of playing around including Nerf-wars (About Google). There is a free shuttle to work. There are meetings to inform workers of ideas and assignments. There is a fair amount of brainstorming and bouncing ideas off of coworkers. (About Google).

All levels of the company have access to the founders of Google. They want every employee to be comfortable sharing thoughts and opinions. Employees feel constantly inspired and excited being around their superiors.

There is an open culture, everyone is encouraged to be hands-on contributors. It is important for employees to feel comfortable sharing ideas and opinions.

Their goal is to make it as easy as possible for users to find information. They aim to make the web a better place by making it easy to navigate. They   favor ability over experience.
